the unclean shall not pass over it. It shall belong to those who walk on the way;
even if they are fools, they shall not go astray." Leviticus 14:7

And what a gorgeous morning it is if you are in NE OHIO!
I was struck today by Isaiah 35:8: the Highway of Holiness. The unclean will not travel in it but it will be for him who walks that way and fools will not wander on it. I realized that a walk with God - a daily one- is not something that just sort of happens- not like driving a care aimlessly and eventually finding the highway. It is deliberate and directional and only daily time in God's Word provides the GPS to keep walking on it. No one just ‘wanders’ and says, "Oh, there it is !" It is a highway that exists only in a spiritual landscape. We can’t see it with our natural eyes and cultural or pragmatic signposts will never lead us to it. Yet it is the very highway we as believers are to occupy with vigilance daily and consciously. God says ‘walk this way’!
